Does the disappearing aspect effect what you send on snapchat?

From our survey we have found that 85% of 100 girls at NCG do not send risky or revealing photos on Snap Chat.

Our results have also told us that for the majority of people, the disappearing aspect doesn't affect anything they send to people.

Here are the survey results...

What are the consequences to sending inappropriate photos on Snap Chat?
  • The photos could be shared with other people that were not meant to get the photos.
  • The photos could be leaked
  • You could get a bad reputation
  • Your parents could see it
  • There are legal consequences e.g.  child pornography
  • You could get bullied or get in trouble at school
  • You could break up with the person you're sending them to and they could blackmail you
  • Someone could screen shot them or screen record them
  • It's just risky in general
  • Someone could get the wrong intention
  • After you send them you might feel embarrassed or ashamed and you could get disappointed in yourself, lose self-respect or be judged

  • Why do girls/guys send inappropriate photos?
  • You may be interested in them
  • They might tell you that you’re beautiful
  • If you’re horny
  • They may think they might get something back from the other person
  • They may think you are attractive
  • When you feel good about your self
  • They trust the person

Where do your snaps go after they've been opened?
"To the other person",   "idk",  "hopefully nowhere" are all people's thoughts from our survey. The truth is the photo will be held in the Snap Chat server until the snap is opened, after 30 days if it hasn't been opened it'll be deleted.
