When a Youtuber has a certain platform number of subscribers, things like general word of mouth and fan accounts usually help gain more fame and recognition. Another way is if a celebrity vlogger becomes friends with a smaller person in the industry and features them in their videos. Those who have more Youtuber friends tend to do better as they all help each other with joint videos etc.
For example, Emma Chamberlain is a teen Youtuber from America. She started off with no fame and made some videos that gained some recognition. As she made more, more celebrity vloggers got to know of her such as the Dolan Twins and James Charles, who have both helped her gain the ‘celebrity vlogger’ status after she moved to LA. Now that she is in the spotlight, she is doing the same as James and the twins did for her and helping Ellie Thurman and Hannah Meloche gain fame and become bigger in the YouTube community.
Another thing that helps-
Living in a place where the YouTube community is huge is a major help. LA is one of the top spots to grow and live as a ‘Youtuber’. Emma Lived in San Francisco but becoming a ‘vlogger’ she has moved to LA and this has really kick-started her appearances and her social life.
To be a Youtuber or a ‘vlogger’, confidence is key. If you watch any Youtubers all of them have confidence and passion for having a YouTube channel. To have the confidence you need to believe in yourself and that’s the first part of success. PewDiePie has the most subscribers on YouTube with 65millon subscribers and he has a channel about gaming. Most people don’t like gaming, yet his followers have backed him, and this has given him confidence. If anyone wants to start a YouTube channel confidence is a must in succeeding.
To be vlogger you need confidence and that’s what all these people we have mentioned have. Subscribers subscribe to things they are interested in so if you want to be a vlogger or youtuber do what you are passionate about and have confidence while doing it.
